Melbourne is well known for its iconic painted laneways; pumping life into our diverse, vibrant city. Blender Studios have been at the forefront of the city’s fine and urban art culture for two decades now so what could be more Melbourne than celebrating Christmas at an artists’ laneway and warehouse party – celebrating 20 years of the Blender Studios!

Across 2 huge days, The Blender Studios present a Christmas Laneway Party for the whole of Melbourne and its guests, with the support of City of Melbourne. On Friday night, we transform our laneway to celebrate with a delicious food truck, signature slushie cocktails and drinks, street art painting, live bands, and a light show. There will be live roving performance art and killer spoken word acts, amongst a packed-out timetable featuring a moody set from jonQuil Christmas Quartet and local DJ talent. Inside the open studios, guests can mingle amongst all the artists with a cold drink in hand and check out their workspaces, as well as take in an exhibition showcasing the 2021 artworks from over 30 Melbourne artists – made in and out of lockdown.

Guests are invited to celebrate the achievements of Blender Studios at its 20th anniversary and discover original works by our resident urban artists.
