After hitting Sydney with his hugely successful, sold out and amazing solo show “I Love Letters” – DOES brings his work down to the ‘Burn to show everyone what’s what in his world – and what a fkn world it is. Colourful, vibrant, stylised and unique, DOES works stands up there with the best of them, and he is one dedicated and passionate artist whose work has to be admired.
“Practising his craft since 1997, DOES has developed into a multi-disciplinary international artist recognised for his dazzling choice of colours, his clean style and his eye for detail. Inspired by colour combinations and remarkable shapes in daily life, landscapes and magazines, DOES continuously strives towards innovation and perfection. Hard work and dedication characterise him as a painter and designer.
His artwork takes root in graffiti art and the letter form is his primary love. Using letters as a foundation, DOES has over the years diversified into paintings, prints, drawings, commercial designs and murals. His exhibitions feature a variety of acrylic, digital, marker and aerosol works.
Bringing his new solo show ‘Between The Lines’ featuring a variety of new digital, acrylic, aerosol and marker works by the letter genius himself. ‘Between the Lines’ is a reference to Netherlands based artists clean style and his career in the soccer industry, as a professional soccer player.
