When you are talking about Melbourne street art – it’s hard not to mention the name Everfresh. The Everfresh crew have been an institution an integral part of street art in our city since day one. Funny, as I’m writing this from Tokyo I can see their stickers everywhere from their last visit.
Everfresh studios in Easey st was for ten years and when it closed a couple of years ago, I was rather sad. The place was like a museum for street art and graffiti. Even though that was the end of an era it was also the start of a new one which spawned their new studio space just on Perry Street – just up the road but still in Collingwood.
Make sure you get yourself to this on Saturday so you can experience the space and also hang out with all of your favourite artists.
From the Everfresh invite: “Last year we had our first ever Open Studio at Everfresh. It was a huge success with over 1500 people came through our doors, so we’ve decided to do it again.
So please come visit us on Saturday, September 12 between 12 noon and 5pm.
You can meet the artists, buy something unique or just take a few photos.
The studio isn’t usually open to the public but this is the one day we open up and Studio artists Rone, Wonderlust, Tooth, Tom Civil, Mayo and Maka. All will all be on hand. So make sure you come along and see it if you have a chance.
Art will be available along with some limited edition prints.
Dangerfork have been running Melbourne’s best boutique print house for the last couple of years and we are stoked to be able to team up with them and share a space. As part of the Studio open day they will also be opening their studio and retail space to the public, if you want to check our their archive of prints or simply ask anything about the printing process come by and say hello.“
