What's Good!

Snapshots – That One Shot

Snapshots – That One Shot

With over two hundred entries, I can only imagine how hard it was for the Chasinghosts crew to select only twelve images from the entire lot for the inaugural That One Shot Melbourne street art photography exhibition. Held down at Husband in Prahran last Friday night, the whole thing was voted for by a bunch of industry judges including Toby (Just Another Agency), Steve Cross (Korpus Tattoo), Nicole Reed (A Shot Away), Mel Dixon (Lomography) and Saul Attack (Boy Wolf Clothing).

I also got hold of one of the new “Chased” shirts, the new shirt label from the Chasinghosts team – must say, that Crisis does some dope work!

This mad shot of Sinch bombing in St Kilda from Carl A won the award – a perfect example of why I love this shit. Well deserved!

The runner up was John Mcclumpha’s “Closing Time” – a brilliant shot of Degraves St.

… and the peoples choice award was another fantastic image, from Michel Cabre for  “Dark Street Art” shot taken near Little Lonsdale St.

It was a fantastic idea and brilliantly executed. I can see this whole event just getting stronger and stronger every year. Its nice to see the hard working crew form Chasinghosts doing something to acknowledge such an important part of our scene – all the paintspotters and aficionados who do so much to promote the art that we all love.

Check out all the rest of the finalists here, and check out all our shots from the event below – once again, well done!
