We’re big fans of seeing artists putting on their first solo shows – and this coming show is no exception. So Mann is one of the directors of the wonderful Sydney gallery, Monstrosity – and his first outing looks pretty intriguing!
"Sol’s first solo exhibition is a chaotic mish mash of drawings, paintings collages and prints using any and every technique.
Drawing from a deep and turbulent underground river, bubbling with sexual desire, half-remembered song lyrics, half-forgotten dreams, wry self-analysis, commercial detritus, and an almost limitless and child-like joy in existence, Sol puts into pictures what everyone is thinking but no one wants to say."
