Exhibition – Sam Evans – HappyHappy SadSad – SA

We’re big fans of Sam Evans light hearted and yet often poignant work, and the Adelaide based artist is having a show opening Wednesday night at Gallery on Waymouth in Adelaide.

Traversing everything from massively intricate illustrations to his weird and wonderful characters, the work of Sam Evans is a hell of a lot of fun, and we’re sure his show will be a fine example of his enthusiastic work.

“Sam Evans is an enigma. He’s a mystery wrapped in CAPITAL LETTERS. He makes art in Adelaide. On the streets of Melbourne and…. anywhere he finds himself really.

Displaying emotion is important in all of our computer mediated sentences ;-), but what happens when it comes to paintings on a wall? Do we need a smiley face for every happy piece of art?

Come along this Wednesday the 9th. Sam’s work IS fun as well as interesting and somewhat disturbing (in a good way). It’s work for your home and for you. Because we know you’ll love it!”
